Zábrodský Stanislav

Stanislav Zábrodský (*1996) studied in the Intermedia studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and in the sculpture studio at ISI Yogyakarta in Indonesia. He works with ceramics, concrete and composite materials, and examines the behaviour of different pigments and glazes. In his hands, materials record life much as fossils once preserved it for future discovery. He is fascinated by the many forms of collecting minerals and rocks, by mineralogy and by the community of stone collectors. His approach therefore opens up questions not only about how we perceive time, but also about how materials might be transformed in the future. His work has appeared in a number of group exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. He has exhibited in New York and Milan, and in 2025 he had a solo exhibition at Polansky Gallery.
